Connect Stripe

Connect Stripe and your paying customers arrive as records, your subscriptions as deals, and your real revenue starts counting toward your target.

Your revenue already lives in Stripe. Connecting it means Dopia knows who is paying you, how much, and since when — without you entering a single record.

Where email sync brings in the conversations, this brings in the money. Together they are most of a CRM you never had to fill.

Before you begin

You need a Stripe account and the right to authorise a connection for it. Access is read-only: Dopia can never move money or change anything in your Stripe account.

Connect

Open Settings → Connections

Find Stripe and choose Connect. (This is also offered during onboarding, right after your mailbox.)

Wait for the import

Dopia reads your existing customers and starts building records. You get a report on Your desk when it finishes.

What arrives

Every paying customer becomes a company and a contact, already filled in.
Each subscription becomes a deal. Real payments move it to Closed Won, with the value and close date taken from Stripe rather than guessed.
Ongoing signals keep coming: upgrades, churn and failed payments show up as they happen, on the record they belong to.

Because closed deals arrive with real amounts and real dates, the number on Your desk starts from your actual revenue rather than from what someone remembered to log.

Churn, renewals and what does not get rewritten

A won deal is history. When a customer churns, Dopia does not reach back and un-win the deal that closed last quarter — that revenue really happened. The change is recorded against the customer going forward instead, so past periods stay stable and your attainment does not shift under you.

Disconnecting

Settings → Connections. Records already built stay; no new Stripe signal arrives after that.
