Your personal assistant
A private AI bound to your own inbox and calendar that preps your day, drafts your follow-ups, and clears the busywork — so your time goes to the part only a human can do.
AI won't replace human salespeople — and Dopia isn't trying to. It's built on the opposite belief: the more the busywork is handled, the more time you have for the work only a person can do. Your personal assistant is how that happens.
Selling stays human
An AI can run a checkout flow end to end. What it can't do is read a department's budget politics, build a relationship that holds up under pressure, or feel whether a brand is the right fit. Those calls live in the space between people — and they always will.
So the goal isn't to automate the salesperson away. It's to clear everything around the relationship, so you can spend your hours where you're irreplaceable.
So every rep gets an assistant
Your personal assistant is a private AI bound to your own inbox and calendar, acting as you. It learns two things at once: how you work — your tone, your follow-up habits, the way you write — and who you're working — the state of every account you own. Driven by the latest signal, it keeps both in view so it can act the way you would.
A day with your assistant
- A morning brief lands before you start: who you should talk to today, the history on each one, and what to watch for.
- A suggested next step — reading the Live Dossier on each account you own, it recommends what to do next. Approve it, and Dopia turns the suggestion straight into an actionable task.
- Drafts waiting — follow-ups written from the full deal context, ready for your review instead of a blank page.
- Scheduling handled — it manages your calendar and powers your booking link, so meetings get booked and kept tidy without you brokering times.
The point is to end the constant re-looking-up — the digging for context, the trivial decisions — so the day starts with a plan instead of an inbox.
Acting on your behalf
Your assistant doesn't work from a generic system account — it works as you. Every draft it writes, every invite it sends, every calendar change it makes goes out under your own identity, from your own mailbox, so the people you deal with are always talking to you.
For that, your assistant needs your mailbox and calendar to act as you — the single highest-leverage setup step in Dopia. You can connect them during onboarding or anytime from Settings; both paths land in the same place.
Open Settings → Connections
From your profile at the bottom of the sidebar, open Settings, then the Connections tab.
Choose your provider
Pick Google for Gmail or Microsoft for Outlook. You'll be sent to your provider to sign in and approve access.
Grant access
Approve the requested permissions. Dopia uses them to read your mail, draft and send on your behalf when you ask, and sync your calendar — the narrowest access that lets your assistant do its job.
For everything your assistant can do once it's connected — drafting, scheduling, and working with you in chat — see Working with your assistant in the AI teammates chapter.
