Dopia for Mac, on every Mac
The Mac app now runs on Intel as well as Apple silicon, sends a screenshot straight into Dopia, records from the microphone you choose and signs in through your browser.
Ask about anything on your screen
A question about something on screen used to mean capture, save, find the file, upload. Pick Send Screenshot to Dopia from the menu bar, drag over the part you mean, and it's waiting in the composer for your question.
- →The window under your cursor is picked for you; drag to choose any area instead
- →Resize or move the selection before you send it
Record from the microphone you're actually using
Recordings used to follow whatever macOS had as its default input, which isn't always the headset on your head. Pick the microphone in Settings → Preferences, and that Mac remembers it.
Intel Macs are in
The Mac app used to install only on Apple silicon, which left everyone on an Intel Mac out. It's now one universal app that installs and updates itself on both.
Sign in through your browser
Signing in to the Mac app meant typing it all in a second time. Now it's one button: your browser opens, you pick the account you're already signed in with, and the app is ready.
